Asher Giraffe

I started little "Asher" this morning, and finished him in the nick of time for Clair's baby shower this afternoon. I sketched it out last night and I wasn't too sure I wanted to make a giraffe. I was having a little trouble with the sketch. I finally got something down on paper I felt I could live with, and here it is in paper. I think Clair liked it, I hope. Asher is what she and Mike are naming the baby. I love that name.

Little Air bear!

Aris has just started eating Cheerios. It's so nice. Now I can sit her in the chair while I am cooking and give her a few Cheerios to much on.

She is so proud of herself. While she is eating she looks at me from time to time and gives me the hugest grin with a look on her face like, "How cool am I!"

Today was a very productive day for everyone. Dean and Tony brought back 4 different loads of manure for both yards. Unloaded everything and spread it around. It was hard, stinky, sweaty work. They were both sunburned. Today was one of those perfect Nevada days. Warm and sunny with a light breeze. The kind of day that makes you want to go outside and play or work in your yard. When the guys were done scooping poop, we BBQ ed hotlinks and chicken with Tony and Sara. They are such good neighbors. We are so blessed to live where we do, it's not the fanciest neighborhood, but we have wonderful neighbors. Tomorrow the guys will be working on the yards again. This time they are starting early in the morning to avoid the hot midday sun. We will probably have dinner together again tomorrow. It should be fun.

Last weekend's visit with the fam

Cindy & Aris

Jenn & Sloan

Jenn is so awesome with little Sloan. She always plays Barbie's and dolls with her. Sloan just adores Jenn.

Cindy was flipping Zoe around and she kept saying, "Do it again Gama". It was very cute.

Sloan & I

Popeye sitting in a highchair at a restaurant for the first time. I gave her some avocado and Cindy fed her some smashed potato's. She loved them both. We had such a lovely time with everyone. I only wish we lived a little closer so we could spend more time together. I can't wait to see Cindy and all the rest of the fam during the summer.
