Dance Recital

Spring Dance Recital day

Last night I went through the painful process (Sloan hates when I do this) of twisting her hair so it would be curly for her recital. I am sad to say that there were tears involved. It is thankfully only twice a year that I have to do this.

My little breakfast girls!

Auntie Cathe came over and painted Sloan's face like the Cowardly Lion. She is amazing at face painting. Sloan looked grrrrrrrrrreat!

All the dances were done to Beatles music and the recital was called "Beatles Mania". The first dance was done to "Dance Tonight".

These little guys danced to "Mary had a little lamb".

"Dizzy Miss Lizzy"

"When I'm 64"

"Here Comes the Sun"

"Octopus's Garden"

"Two of Us"

"Honey Pie"

"English Tea"

"Drive my car".

"In my Life"

"Any Road"

Sloan did such an awesome job! This has been such a fun day. After the recital we took Sloan to eat at Jack in the Box. It was where she wanted to go. We munched down our food and then came home so her and Brendan could play while Jen and Jason went to the movies. We were able to leave the girls with Jen while we took Sloan to the recital. I think it is important for Sloan to have some one on one time when ever we are able. She worked so hard on this dance and every year she gets better at dance. Kathrine said Zoe could start classes in the fall if we would like. Dean and I are talking about it.

New Guitar part #2

This cracked me up. Zoe is so much fun. Just to let you know this was filmed at 6:45 Am. I wish I had this much energy in the morning.

Zoe' New Guitar

Dean bought Zoe a new guitar. She was so excited.

Baby

Here is a little clip of Aris looking at a book about babies, and then saying the word baby. Zoe loves her little sister sooo much. It is fun to watch Aris get excited when Zoe starts goofing around.

Reading Time

You are never too young to read. My girls love their books!

Dada

I am so blessed that I can stay home with my little ones. I am also fortunate enough to be able to watch other little ones as well. Here are my little Aris and little Haylie competing with their "Dada's". It is so fun to watch them grow.

Dog Fight (by the way enough with all the fighting)

It has already proven to be a busy weekend before Saturday even arrived. Last night Abby (our dog not Sloan's friend) and Anna (the dog) got into another horrible fight. Leaving Abby quite hurt. We wanted to give Anna the benefit of the doubt and another chance to keep her here so she doesn't have to go to the pound....but we also can't afford doggy hospital bills at the moment. So Anna will have to go. Abby is the one who started the first fight, and probably started this one too. If anyone knows of a good home for a very sweet (just doesn't like yappy dog attacking her) dog. We need to find her a good home to try and keep the pound as a last resort. We are watching Anna for a friend who can't keep her anymore. She is an older German Shepard. We have watched Anna many times and trust her around all of our kids. Abby doesn't like Anna at all. So she picks on her again and again until Anna has had enough and finally defends herself. I wouldn't consider Anna an aggressive dog, just sticking up for herself. Soooooooooooo if anyone knows of a home for a very gentle, good with kids, dog. Please e-mail me and I will send you my #. Thanks for your help.
